We worship God, grow together, and go to serve Jesus!

Mission and Vision Statements

Our mission is to worship God, grow together, and go to serve Christ!

Our vision is to build Strong Christians and Champions of Christ!

This is how we do it...

Passionate Worship

We have a vision to grow numerically, especially in the 25-40 age group and with children and youth, all the while keeping our close-knit, family atmosphere. We see the parking lot full and the pews filled with young and old worshipping together with enthusiasm! We will form our young people into disciples for Christ through a revived puppet ministry, a children’s choir, and an annual children’s Christmas program!

Intentional Faith-Development

We enhance our Christian education by hosting a Wednesday night program that will begin with a light dinner from 6: 00 until 6: 15 p.m., followed by a Bible study from approximately 6: 15 until 7: 00 p.m. We will also increase our attendance in Sunday School classes, and we continue our awesome youth ministries and mission trips. We will also continue our annual Vacation Bible School. We also will form a United Methodist Men’s group that meets on Saturdays, a United Methodist Women’s group that meets quarterly, and a new young adult fellowship, specifically designed for young couples with children. We will increase our church communication through a revised prayer chain in which more members can be made aware of and pray for concerns facing our members!

Radical Hospitality

We will design a Hospitality Team that will coordinate a follow-up ministry to first-time visitors, which will include mailing out cards, letters, and delivering gifts to the homes of first-time visitors. The Hospitality Team will also create an evangelism ministry, which includes door-to-door flyers, doorhangers, and more!

Risk-Taking Mission and Service

We also have the long-term goal of growing our church until we need two Sunday worship services and a full-time pastor. We will then raise funds in a building program for a new Life Center, which will allow us to expand our sanctuary and have more space for fellowship events. We will do Drive Through Prayer on our church parking lot in the Spring 2017.

Extravagant Generosity

We will reach out to the community by serving not only Crosslines, but also Habitat for Humanity, Victory Mission, and other local ministries at least once every other month, occasionally with Christ United Methodist Church. We will reach out and touch the world by faithfully paying our apportionments and maintaining our connection to the overall United Methodist Church.
