We worship God, grow together, and go to serve Jesus!

Missions and Outreach

The mission of Antioch is to reach up, reach in, and reach out. Therefore, we would like to begin helping the Harmony House here in Springfield. Harmony House provides safe and secure emergency housing to families escaping domestic violence.

If you would like to help, the Harmony House needs: Diapers (Size 3 and 6), Men's Hygiene Items (shampoo, shave kits, deodorant), Paper Towels, Clorox Wipes, Cold Medicine, Hand Soap, Cough Drops, 30 Gallon Trash Bags. There is a collection bin in the church foyer, across from the sound booth, if you feel led to bring needed items.

Since 1976, Harmony House provides emergency shelter, case management, advocacy and other supportive services to more than 800 women, men, and children. In addition to shelter services. If you or someone you know is living in an abusive situation, encourage them to call 417-864-SAFE (7233). Thanks to Sharon Mills for bringing this vital ministry to our attention.

We collected 80 shoeboxes to be given to children around the world for Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!

Our church broke the record for the number of families given food, 209 families served on Friday May 3, 2019! Way to go, Team Antioch!

The Women of God’s newest ministry is called “Hearts and Hands”. It has 2 parts: We will keep the small freezer in the kitchen stocked with ready-to-heat meals for ANYONE who needs meals due to sickness, injury, surgery, financial hardship, etc. Help yourself as needed — no need to ask. We also offer our services for any church member who may need a little extra help with a chore. We can do light housekeeping, errands, light yard work, closet/cabinet organization, etc. Tell any Women of God member what you need, & we will schedule a work crew for you.

Praise God for seventy Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes given to children globally!

Did you know that The United Methodist Church has a worldwide mission relief team?  It's called The United Methodist Committee on Relief, or UMCOR, and it goes to people in crisis and natural disasters. Wherever there are tornadoes, wildfires, hurricanes, etc., UMCOR is there to provide emergency help. Want more information? Want to be the hands of Jesus for those suffering disasters? Check out
